“Great Food, Outstanding Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2012

M wife and I visited Seasons 52 in Oak Brook to celebrate my birthday. The food is EXCELLENT, fresh, tasty and focused on what is in season. It seems there is more of a focus on providing a well balanced meal with in season veggies, quality entrees and just the right amount for you to clean your plate without the need to take something home. My wife had the special Mayan Red Snapper, and I had the Grilled Sea Scallops, everything was done to perfection and both entrees were under 475 calories. The little "indulgences" for dessert were very tasty.

The wait staff is very friendly, and our waiter, Josh was attentive without being pushy, as well as friendly and fun.

We strongly recommend Seasons 52 and plan on returning soon.

“Nice place to have a drink and appetizer”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2012

Behind the bar is a baby grand piano. Listening to the pianoman is entertaining along with delicious appetizers and strong drinks. Fun place for a date and nice wait staff.

“Very tasty!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012

Today was my first visit to Seasons 52, but it won't be my last. When trying to eat healthy, there are not many good restaurant choices....especially if you are a foodie and love interesting food. This place delivered on taste and presentation, plus you can't beat the calorie counts. Can't wait to go back!

“Portion and calorie controlled nutritious meal (gluten-free menu)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2012

We ate at Seasons 52 in Naples FL this spring and were looking forward to the opening of this one in OakBrook. The gluten-free menu is small, the only appetizer is edamame (which I had and really enjoyed) and the only dessert is fresh fruit (nice unless you really want a treat). Overall the environment was good and very lively (busy for a Wed night, we had to wait 30 min for only the two of us). We loved sitting at the bar with the piano player inside the bar area while waiting for our table. My husband had the grouper and I watched as many other colorful (veggies) meals made there way to the other tables. We would go again if they had more gluten-free options.

“Lots of choices!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2012

I made my first visit for a late lunch, midweek, with no reservation. Our waitress was very attentive, we were seated immediately, but do understand that the place is loud, due to the high ceilings, so conversation between 7 people was impossible.

There were many choices on the menu, and vegetarian options were also offered. Fish tacos, blackened, were good, the raw tuna was also excellent, and the garden soup was loaded with fresh vegetables and quite tasty. Other dishes enjoyed by the group were the buffalo burgers, and one of the many flatbread offerings. The tomato and crusted mozzarella salad was also a favorite, in fact, this friend ordered it again, as she had it before and loved it.

Then came the small dessert offerings. There were 5 takers at the table, and 6 to choose from. Small portions make a nice way to finish the meal, and one friend commented that she wished she had a longer tongue, so she could lick the dish!

Fresh food, a menu that has some dishes that are regularly offered, but changes essentially 52 times in a year, and the calorie conscious servings make this fun! Worth trying!
