Paul and Irene always have the freshest sushi and the best service. Paul is a true artist and will accede to almost any request. I've been to a bunch of 'high end' or fancy sushi places around the country and world and Fujiyama, right in my own backyard, is always the absolute best!

I have entertained business colleagues from both coasts, from Europe and from the midwest over fifty times at this restaurant and have to say that their food is of the highest standards and the service is impeccable. Irene and Paul, the husband-wife co-owners of this little restaurant do their utmost to achieve consistency of high quality sushi and other Asian fare. While their prices may be a tad more than others in the area, you get what you pay for: an excellent dining experience. Do not be fooled by the restaurant's location in a strip mall or its simple functional decor- it is the food and service that make it fantastic!

We’ve been devoted customers of this restaurant for more than 10 years. What is really amazing about this place is the consistency – the food is ALWAYS exceptionally fresh and tasty.
Dining or just having a quick lunch there is enjoyable experience.
Eating there quite often for a long period of time I can’t recall a single visit when we were even slightly unhappy with anything we’ve ordered. This is truly the best sushi place in Chicago area!
