My husband and I were welcomed warmly by the owner. Our handsome waiter helped me choose a luscious Greek wine for starters, offering a taste first so that I would be pleased with my selection. I was! The seafood appetizers we chose, very lightly breaded calamari and baked scallops with garlic butter & bread crumbs, were delicious! We both had the rich creamed spinach soup with crusty bread. I had mine alongside a crisp Greek salad, and my husband had steamed oysters. What a treat! For dessert, my husband had ice cream and I had a second glass of the superb wine, Lac des Roches by Boutari.
The restaurant appears to be a neighborhood favorite with familiar-to-the-staff patrons filling the tables and booths & sharing greetings with the wait staff. We only wish this restaurant was in our neighborhood in Michigan.
