Stayed here for two nights in September 2007. I personally enjoyed the
place well enough, but I can see how others would not.
The room's wallpaper/beds/air conditioning/TV are all quite noticeably
outdated. TV reception was choppy on a few channels. Room came with a fridge. Bed was comfortable enough but not elegant or anything of the like. Shower was a bit small.
The hotel's location in regards to Gurnee Mills and Six Flags was nice - about ten minutes from both. It's about 45 minutes north of downtown Chicago, and be prepared to face some heavy Chicago-style Traffic.
All in all, I'd recommend this place to those who are looking for a good price on a hotel and aren't picky about high-quality everything. It's a step above Motel 6 and EconoLodge-esque places, but below Best Westerns or Howard Johnsons.
