We greatly enjoyed out stay at the Willard Richards Inn. Aside from the great rooms and great location, we really appreciated Shane and Heather taking the time to talk to us about what to visit and explaining the history behind the inn, including the amazing cellar with temple stones. They were the perfect hosts and anticipated our needs before we asked. The shared living room on the 1st floor is beaurifually decorated and was a great place to lounge and had a small fridge and microwave for warming food and a TV and DVD player with lots of videos for watching. We came to Nauvoo in December, right when it snowed, so there were very few people visiting the historic sites and Shane and his son were quick to get the snow cleared out of the driveway. We'd stay here again.

Instead of simply visiting the historic sites, why not stay in one? The Willard Richards Inn boasts beautiful views of the Nauvoo Temple and is only steps away from the Nauvoo Pageant stage.
