We arrived the evening after a horrible storm and there was no electricity. The clerk offered to help us find another place to stay but since it was cool outside and the external lights and water were still working thanks to a generator, we elected to stay. The cabin was nicely furnished. The restaurant was up and running by a generator the next morning so we had a wonderful breakfast. If you stay during the middle of the week you get $25 in credit per cabin toward your breakfast. Pretty good deal! We at the restaurant several times and the food was always good. We had a great time, I had always wanted to stay there since I was raised near the Pines but we never stayed there until 50 years after I left there!
