Sometimes you just don't know what to expect from a Bed & Breakfast, so it is with great pleasure that I write this review. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, Buster and Fern were accommodating, friendly and just nice to be around. Their B&B is a very attractive piece of property, with a deck filled with flowers, gliding swings and Buster's homemade crafts to peck your interest. We spotted wild turkeys, and cows grazing in the fields, and humming birds sipping from their feeders. I also loved being on the upstairs balcony where waiting for me in the morning was a carafe of coffee, nice touch! Our room was also filled with Fern's handmade quilts and other lovely pieces. We did not lack for anything and both her and Buster made our breakfast memorable and filling. Good thing we were on a hiking get away! If you are ever in the area I highly recommend staying at the Prairie Path. Ask Fern to prepare her Swedish pancakes, they are better than any I have had in restaurant.
