“Service spot on; cold food cool; hot food warm”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

As business assoicate and I had lunch there yesterday. We arrived around 12:30pm. The restaurant was pretty full. He order a salad and I order the Rueben; we both order soup. Both soups were warm. When the entrees were delivered my cole slaw was cool not cool. The Reuban was warm, not hot. His salad was cool, not cold. Service was good but we wonder now if our plates sat someplace for a while. I've eaten there before; good then, now not. For the prices we paid the value was just not there.

“Great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

The food is never a disappointment at Johnny's. It is pricier than some in our area, but it has a great atmosphere, yummy food, too. It is too bad it cannot have more of an intimate dining experience and one a little quieter

“Pretty good food, very slow”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013

If you want a very long, drawn out dinner, this is a good choice. Food is pretty good, some choices quite good, but expensive.

“Excellent Meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

I've eaten at Johnny's twice. The first time I had the scallops and angle hair pasta - very good! The second time I had the Original Pork Chop with the lobster mac & cheese. It wasn't a good combo and I wished I had ordered something else. The mac & cheese is good - but VERY rich. I could only have a few bites and that's it. My husband had steak medallions with shitake mushrooms and it was EXCELLENT. The dinner salad was good, and the bread is good too. We went for the creme brule, which was good but not outstanding.

Overall, this is a very good restaurant - reasonably priced for the decor and the menu. It's a nice night out.

“Chicago-style Italian in Moline”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

Johnny's has great steaks, pasta, and desserts. The ambiance is upscale with Rat Pack-themed pictures hung around the restaurant. It is conveniently located along the Mississippi River and has good service. If you are wanting a filling meal, this is the place to go!
