We have stayed in some not so clean hotels a few times. My husband said don't book a hotel for its price (he says I'm cheap). So I started looking at all price ranges. Found The Radisson on John Deere Commons and since we were planning on visiting the museum directly across the street. I checked it out pretty good and decided to book there. I have not normally booked a hotel over $100 per night. Don't get me wrong, I soon learned on our trip home at a hotel that was less than $20.00 than what I paid at the Radisson that was not near as nice as this hotel. I loved it. It was very clean and quiet. I kept telling my kids to be quiet, because I could not hear anyone else. The staff was friendly and helped with any questions and directions I had about the area. Restaurants and shopping were just a short drive away. The only regret I had, was we didn't stay longer. We would definitely stay there again.

I stayed here last year for a wedding and stayed here again this year for a visit. Not much change in a year which is good news. The hotel is clean, the beds are great and the staff is excellent. I ordered room service from the adjacent TGI Fridays and it was good and brought to my room promptly. There is a Greek festival that goes on the first weekend in June on the street in front of the hotel. Even though I was already aware of that the hotel sent me a nice letter explaining that it would be going on while I was there and that the street would be closed, more traffic than normal, etc. which I thought was nice. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone staying on the Illinois side of the Quad cities.

This is a great hotel. The staff was great & very friendly. Check in & out was easy & fast. The hotel is clean & that is what is most important to me when I travel is to have a clean room & especially a clean bathroom. This hotel is the only hotel to stay at when you have an event at The Mark to go to. It is soooo convenient. TGI Friday's is connected to the hotel you don't even have to go outside also if you want to stay in your room you can order room service from TGI Friday's.

The Radisson on John Deere Commons is okay, but nothing exceptional. The suite we had was clean and comfortable, with two (older) tv's, a small fridge and microwave. The Sleep Number bed is nice (my girlfriend was more impressed by it than I was). However, the ceilings seem low, and the rooms have a somewhat claustrophobic feel. Also, there is a lot of hall noise, so I would definitely recommend getting a suite in order to isolate some of the noise from the bedroom area.
