“Had a great time - very nice!”

This is a great hotel - granted it's in Moline, IL, but if you are going to be in the Quad cities, it's a great place to stay.

We were there 2 nights with three kids in a suite, and we had a great time. The pool and the whirlpool were wonderful, the staff were friendly, the beds were comfy, and there was a great view of the Mississippi right out the window.

The breakfast was large and there was free wireless throughout the hotel. Right next door to the hotel is the John Deere pavilion (a great big hall with lots of giant tractors for kids to climb on and in).

Moline itself seems a little depressed, but the hotel was a very pleasant place to stay. If we are in the quad cities again I would definitely come back there.

“Excellent Stay”

I agree with the other postings that this was a very clean, modern hotel with very friendly staff. Location is indeed excellent within walking distance of several good pubs (Bier Stube, Bent River Brewing Co). The jogging/bike path is right behind the attached Friday's restaurant on the river. The fitness room was very small, with only one treadmill, one stepper, and a multi-station weight machine with only limited capabilities. Indoor heated pool was small, but spotless, as well as the jacuzzi. There is only one computer/printer, next to the front desk, for printing boarding passes or checking e-mail. I was surprised that even during "rush hour", traffic in the area was very light. I met some folks from South Africa that were visiting John Deere facility; bartender told me they bring in people from all over the world. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable. The location is great. You are within walking distance to all the John Deere sites, and to numerous pubs and resturants. The hotel is right on the river and has immediate access to the river walk and to the water taxi that takes you to various locations in both Illinois and Iowa. Every room in the hotel has a river view to enjoy. The pool was nice, and all though it was a little colder than we would have hoped, we did still swim. The breakfast provided is more than your typical hotel provided breakfast. We even enjoyed scammbled eggs, bacon and sausage one morning. The sleep number beds were a very nice feature, and the bedding itself was top of the line. The hotel is so close to everything the Quad Cities has to offer, including easy access to the bridge to and from Iowa. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would easily stay there again.

“Quiet and clean”

Radisson on John Deere Commons

Aug 18, 2007

We have stayed in some not so clean hotels a few times. My husband said don't book a hotel for its price (he says I'm cheap). So I started looking at all price ranges. Found The Radisson on John Deere Commons and since we were planning on visiting the museum directly across the street. I checked it out pretty good and decided to book there. I have not normally booked a hotel over $100 per night. Don't get me wrong, I soon learned on our trip home at a hotel that was less than $20.00 than what I paid at the Radisson that was not near as nice as this hotel. I loved it. It was very clean and quiet. I kept telling my kids to be quiet, because I could not hear anyone else. The staff was friendly and helped with any questions and directions I had about the area. Restaurants and shopping were just a short drive away. The only regret I had, was we didn't stay longer. We would definitely stay there again.
