There was 7 in our party, 3 of which were kids. First let me say that the food was good. Collectively our party had salmon, ribs, pulled pork, brisket, chicken all of which were very very good. Oh, and a bowl of Onion soup which was also very good. However, the sides left a little to be desired. Our issue was with our server. The restaurant was not particularly busy for a Friday night as there were several empty tables visible. It took far too long to simply greet us and bring the standard glasses of water. Then it took too long to come and order our drinks. Because those steps took so long we forced our food order on her as well. I spent serious time as a server in college and people with kids are usually "on the clock". Meaning it will only be a matter of time before the kids become unruly. A seasoned (or rookie) server would know this and try and be available from the start. I had to ask for a drink refill and ask for more bread (bread also very good) and not long after she brought the bread she took it away without asking if we were done. The food did not come out all at once which is a pet peeve of mine. It seemed as though we were not her priority. It's fine if we are not, but don't let it show.
