“Nice atmosphere with good food.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

Went for dinner meeting at the end of August and thought the atmosphere was fairly. The staff was friendly, not over attentive but did not ignore us either. Good decent food with nice selection of beer and wine. I had the ultimate fish and shrimp dinner and there was plenty to take home. Those desserts look FANTASTIC!! It is nice to see Claim Jumper climb out of their bankruptcy after a long struggle--continue to work on the fine tuning!

“Nice Atmosphere & Decent Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013

After reading some of the reviews concerning inedible food, I decided to write this review. We have eaten at this restaurant on several occasions over the past 5 years. We like the atmosphere and layout ,they have a good selection of beer & wine, food has been always decent to eat, not gourmet but also not inedible. Its OK. The service is generally good and we find the prices to be reasonable.

“Will never go again... Terrible food ... Terrible service.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

The only thing edible last visit was the chicken pot pie, and that was only because I took it home and cooked it till done. Crust was mushy and interior only warm...Perhaps previously frozen? I returned my tenderloins of beef for credit as the beef was too tough to chew and the mushrooms and gravy tasted like soap. Our server was awful and never brought requested items...like sugar, water, a clean napkin. When asked for water he brought another costly lemonade. It wasn't till we got the bill that we realized each glass costs $3.99 because prices for non alcoholic drinks were not stated on their menus. Over priced rip-off restaurant.

“Not the quality expected for the prices they charge”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

Food: Salads were ok, but one of them had too much dressing. Hubby had the whiskey-apple glazed chicken, which was a little dry and definitely could have used more of the yummy sauce that was barely existent. The 3-cheese potato pancakes were awesome. I had the chopped steak, which was cooked well, and had plenty of mushrooms and onions, but again could have used more of the sauce that came with it. The sweet potato was very good. Our son had the hickory BBQ burger which was ok. We got dessert to go, which was an i-declair and the warm toffee cake, which were both excellent.
Service: very, very slow. It seems we waited forever to be served, for the food to come, for just about everything.
Prices are on the higher side and for that and slow service, I'm only giving it an average review. The restaurant itself has a great lodge feel and is just amazing inside, but for the price you pay, you expect a little better service and higher quality of food. The entree should have been excellent and not had to rely on the sides and dessert to make up for an average meal.

“Consistently Good!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013

We have been to Claim Jumper about three times. We don't live close to one so that is why so infrequent. The atmosphere is very nice. Casual dress is fine. We enjoy the fish tacos, oriental salad, and the pizza. My husband especially likes the GLUTEN FREE menu and the fact that they have a quesadilla that he loves with chicken. Our waitress was very kind and brought him some fruit since he couldn't have the bread that was brought to our table. They only do bread on the weekends. However, this last time, we went on a Monday, and I didn't realize that, and our waiter graciously gave us a loaf of bread straight from the oven for asking. Desserts look awesome, but never have ordered any. EnJOY!
