This was a great hotel! The conference I attended was held in this hotel, so I decided to stay there because it was convenient. My room was large, the king size bed had six pillows, lots of drawer space, great desk chair, comfortable sofa, lighted make-up mirror in bathroom, huge drawer in bathroom (great because not a lot of counter space), fluffy towels, iron & board, crystal ice bucket, great coffee and wonderful cookies in the room each night. The bathroom did not have a bathtub, which was ok by me. The shower was a huge double shower with floor to ceiling glass doors, shower massage, good water pressure & drainage. The closet was small, again ok with me because of the drawer space. The hotel personnel were friendly, helpful and fun. The food in the restaurant was 5 star. First convention hotel I've stayed in that had 1/2 size portions on the menu and reasonable prices.

I would stay in this hotel anytime I'm within 25 miles of Chicago. Well worth the $40 cab ride from O'Hare.

Only draw back, if staying for more than a couple days, there aren't restaurants or shops within walking distance.

This hotel reminded me of my grandmother's house: clean and comfortable but in need of redecorating. My boyfriend and I live in downtown Chicago and decided to spend the 4th of July weekend in the 'burbs golfing and shopping the outlet malls. We stayed here for one night. I usually stay at Hiltons in large cities (U.S., Europe and Asia/Pac) and find them to be very contemporary and stylish. That style doesn't extend to this property. On the positive side, rooms are large, beds are *very* comfortable (stayed in a Club floor king), in-room Cuisinart coffee maker w/Lavazza coffee is nice, remodeled/upgraded bathroom well done w/good shower pressure, staff are friendly and helpful, and breakfast served in the restaurant (free for Diamond/Club people) is more than adequate. On the other hand, the antique white Zenith TV with the fuzzy picture needs to be replaced, the decor could use an update and the lounge on the Club floor had no weekend food/beverage service. I think hotels in the suburbs can get by without trying too hard because the competition is typically mediocre. This Hilton pretty much fits into that category – comfortable and adequate, but nothing to rave about. If you go, expect a pleasant and comfortable stay in a suburban office park overlooking a major expressway without the pampering or luxuries you might get in the big city and you probably won’t be disappointed.

The rooms smell like moldy wet rags, the air did not work properly and they said they did not have any other rooms available to move me. I booked thru my travel agent who warned me that she has had a few issues as of lately as well. Need I mention the food was terrible and all overpriced for this property and area. They need to rethink their priorities!

This hotel is consistently great. I've stayed here several times and have yet to very little if anything to complain about! Rooms are comfy, onsite restaurant great and staff very friendly.

Really good things -

1) Exercise room - ellipiticals, treadmills, free weights, TV's on equipment, towels and it overlooks the pool.

2) Restaurant - sandwiches are excellent and service fantastic. These guys go out of their way to ensure you have what you want. It's not overpriced either.

3) Room - clean and comfy.

4) Staff - helpful at every turn.


Couple of nuisances -

1) TV doesn't pull out and swivel. I hate that you can't watch TV while working at the desk.

2) Parking lot right in front is small and always full. Walking from side lot in the winter stinks.

3) Business center is all automated and not very user-friendly. I'll be hitting the FedEx Kinko's three minutes away every time.


All in all, great place at a great price. Close to the I-88...easy to get to from downtown or O'Hare. Will continue to stay here!
