We stayed at the Hilton Lisle/Naperville over Thanksgiving weekend. We were familiar with the area and wanted to stay at another hotel, but the Hilton was cheaper. When we arrived, the manager told us that there was a wedding and a hockey team staying at the hotel, so he purposely put us on a floor on which none of those guests were staying, so that it would be quieter. The rooms were clean, but we noticed that night that our sink was broken. The next day, on our way out, we informed the front desk that our sink was broken. When we returned, the sink was fixed, maintenance had left us cookies, and we had a free certificate for dessert at the hotel restaraunt for our inconvenience! Our floor was very quiet. The one thing you have to be aware of is that housekeeping begins at 8 in the morning, so you have to put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on your door at night so housekeeping doesn't knock on your door in the morning. Be sure to take it off when you leave for the day!
This hotel is fairly close to the Chicago Premium Outlets, Oakbrook Center, and a few other shopping areas. It is along a tollway, so make sure to bring plenty of spare change. Tolls ranged from 60 cent to $1.
Also be sure to check out downtown Naperville, they have a shopping area (Ann Taylor, Barnes & Noble, Eddie Bauer, along with some local shops) and also a Giordano's Pizza. There are not a lot of restaraunts near the hotel, you have to travel around 10 minutes away.
