Every event I have hosted at the Morton arboretum has been a great success and a pleasure. The sales and service department are top notch. I highly recommend the Morton Arboretum.

“Great day in the country so close to Chicago!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

I sure like using this Christmas gift membership! Biking the hills especially on the East Loop is fantastic. You see trees from around the world in about 1 hour - it is amazing!

Top ten places in Illinois to see nature: yes - for the entire family

Inspired: Joy Morton - thank you

Pro: cafeteria food, entire staff, visitors, David Rogers' Big Bugs Exhibition, amazing gift shop, bike rentals, a beautiful place for a wedding!

Con: nothing at all

Return: I look forward to seeing the fall colors here!

“Wonderful spot for the family.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

This is a great attraction outside of downtown Chicago. It is a wonderful area for kids and the family to spend the day. You can pack a lunch or buy something from their well stocked cafe.

“Introduce the Kids to Nature”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

The Morton Arboretum is a great experience no matter what your age! but there is so much there for kids to enjoy. The giant bug sculptures, The Tree Houses Exhibit, and the Children's Garden are all excellent ways to introduce younger folks to the wonders of nature. Check their website for reduced admission days.

“The admission for the Morton Arboretum is $15”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

My wife and I go to Lisle on a regular basis as we used to live in Lisle. The admission for the Morton Arboretum is $15. If you like long walks in the park, you will like the arboretum. If you aren't really the type to wander around dirt trails and look at nature (plant life, very little in terms of animals and such) then this won't be your speed. It's like walking through a huge forest preserve that some non-native trees have been introduced to. The Visitor Center has Starbucks Coffee, the Gingko restaurant & cafe, and a gift shop. They have a stupid water bottle policy. Bottled water is not available because of an ignorant pseudo-green agenda. Management will not sell bottled water, but will sell you aluminum bottles that you can fill at a drinking fountain. What makes this policy ridiculous is they will gladly sell you soda pop in plastic bottles.
