When we first walked into the room, we noticed a huge empty space where a couch and table used to be. Even the carpet was a different color. There was nothing in it's place. It was like we had a big, empty dance floor in our room. I called to inquire about a folding luggage rack, as we did not want to put our bags on the floor, and there was literally no place to put them. At first they said they didn't have any, but when I pressed the issue, they "found" one. We were given 2 scratchy towels and two scratchy washcloths. Our room was a non-smoking room surrounded by 5 SMOKING rooms. Thank goodness only one room was occupied out of those 5! However, the pool area was very nice and quiet. Again, the towels could be better, but it was okay. The staff was very nice -- they were very receptive to my "complaint" about the non-smoking room in a smoking section. I don't think this will be our first choice next time we need to stay in the area, though.

My apologizes to the guest that encountered problems during her stay. We were in the process of changing the carpet in the breakfast/lobby area and the furniture was unorganized. Also, we had just received new linen and apparently the housekeeping staff did not wash it before putting it in the rooms, therefore, it had that scratchy feel. I invited the guest to return to our hotel and contact me for a discount on her next stay. Thank you. Mary Lynn General Manager
