My husband and I just got back from a fabulous getaway weekend where we stayed at an awesome resort called Eaglewood. This resort is tucked away in a subdivision and when we walked into the lobby we were awstruck at the beauty of the view! The lobby has a walk out balcony that overlooks a beautiful golf course and it was so inviting we decided to have a drink and sit on the balcony before we checked in. After we finishd Patrick the bellman took us up to our room where there was ANOTHER balcony overlooking the golf course! I did not know there was a hotel in Chicago that had balconies.

Anyway we enjoyed our dinner in the resturant that evening and had a wonderful time sitting out at the firepit with a bunch of family members! The weekend was great, all us girls had spa services and the guys played golf while the kids played in the pool and the game room. I would defintely highly recommend this quaint resort for a quick weekend escape or for a well planned family reunion!

My husband and I needed to get away during the construction work of our home for 2 days. The front desk people were so nice when we arrived a little late and they suggested room service for a lite evening cheese with cracker plate. It arrived within 20 minutes and just hit the spot! The room was beautiful and we got to enjoy our coffee outside on our balcony. The resturant staff for breakfast the next morning were just wonderful! This place is a hidden Jewel and we will certainly be back!!

We stayed at the Eaglewood Resort and Spa for my birthday and I was plesantly surprised. It is only 20 minutes from downtown Chicago but is nestled in a nice quiet area for the most part. We had the penthouse suite which had a great lobby room and the most comfortable bed ever. It had two balconies as well. The staff were all very friendly. We don't golf but the golf grounds were beautiful. If you want to getaway from the city this is a great place to go. We also had a couple's massage at the spa - which was awesome. They have a huge fitness center as well.

“Three day stay at the Eaglewood Resort and Spa”

Eaglewood Resort & Spa Chicago

My company recently had a meeting at the Eaglewood Resort and Spa in March. I stayed in the resort for two nights and had meetings on-site. Overall I had a great experience during my stay. My room was extremely clean with a nice view of the golf course. The room was large and has plenty of space to relax after being in meetings all day. The service was great. Many of my peers used the resort's internet service that stated it was free when you signed on, but then were charged for their usage at checkout. The nice woman at the front desk apologized for the inconvienence and took the charges off of the bill with a smile. That told me that this resort is truly concerned with the happiness of their guests. I would recommend this resort and spa and would definately stay here again when in the Chicago area.

This hotel is very unorganized. We booked a package for a weekend a month in advance for our 4 year anniversery. We checked in and she handed our card back to us because sopposedly our card wouldn't go through. Never had a problem with it before or anywhere else during our stay, we asked her to try it again then she said she got it to go through $100 at a time. Okay.. Then I verified with her we requested the highest floor possible and golf course view and she said ok. We went up to our room on the 6th floor opened the curtains to see the parking lot! So we went back down to ask for the room we asked for, then the girl said well we have a room like that but you'll have to pay $20 extra a night. I said no we requested that when we booked our room and they said no problem and I also requested that just 5 min ago when we checked in and she said no problem so the other girl heard the arguement and came over and said it would be ok. OK, so then we get to our room that was ok but definatly nothing special. The view and floor to ceiling windows is the only nice thing about it. We also had coupons that were included in our package for a bottle of wine and a spa amenity basket. Now getting those were like pulling teeth! I had to call all over the hotel just to get it and they acted like they had no idea what they were all about. You'd think they'd be on top of that and deliver them without having to basicly beg for it or even ask. They wern't things that were given to us by the hotel we actually paid for them in advance thinking they'd be in our room. We felt like we were inconviencing them. The spa actually seems like they pretty much have thier stuff together but the hotel.. Not good. And there not friendly about it at all. It's not my fault you don't know what your doing. I wont be back there again

Also you have to walk across the parking lot to the spa and pool area. It's not too relaxing to walk back to the hotel in the freezing cold after a nice, relaxing massage. I kinda takes the moment away.
