Considering La Quinta is a no-frills accommodation, we felt this hotel was wonderful. It suited us perfectly during our stay in the Chicago area and we've nothing but good things to say about the hotel, staff and the overall experience. Our room was spotless and featured all the necessary amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our self-serve breakfasts each morning and otherwise had a very nice time during our stay at La Quinta Inn, Hoffman Estates. We would very definitely go back!

We stayed at the La Quinta Inn in Hoffman Estates, IL after a business trip to downtown Chicago. We wanted to stay an extra day and visit family and I found this hotel on the internet. It was a pleasant experience. After staying at what was suppose to be a four star hotel downtown we didn’t expect much and was actually happier with the La Quinta.

The room was clean and in good repair and appeared to be fairly new. The only maintenance issue was that when we walked up to the room in the hall it did not appear that the door was closed. It actually was closed and locked but from the inside the deadbolt didn’t line up. The other locks worked well and it was not an issue. We had to go to the front desk for an ashtray for our smoking room but these were the only negative.

They have an outdoor heated pool that was very warm. We enjoyed this in the evening and no one else was around. The pool stays open till 10 p.m.

The breakfast was really good and well stocked. We had hot self serve waffles that were very tasty and a big selection of other items. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Overall this was a very good value for the money paid and I would stay there again.
