This is one a several family owned and run area restaurants called Las Palmas. The food here is always fantastic, and the attention you receive from the staff is amazing. Fajitas are special not just in flavor, but the dish is served on a charcoal heated contraption that is worth the price of admission alone. BUT, I say try the mole. Best mole on the north side. Not sweet. Not hot. A curious blend of chiles and seasoning, with just a hint of the delish Mex chocolate. It is all I get there now. Also a great selection of tequilas, and super margaritas, even the 'house' version. But I suggest you spring for the fancy one where you choose your tequila. The only missing ingredient is the beach.
