“A trip back in time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2012

Satying at Highden Manor is a trip back in time but don't be fooled, this is a luxury property in which to stay. We loved the history tour that Steve took us on when we arrived and then we were left to be as alone as we wanted. The guests all stay in the Manor which is just amazing and the staff are in other housing on the property. There are expansive grounds in which you are free to roam or just grab a bottle of wine and enjoy the peace, tranquility and views from the 1st floor verandah. The meals are 5 star and the staff were very friendly. Couldn't recommend Highden Manor any higher. Not sure if they have printed more business cards as we took all the ones in the entry foyer to give to our friends.
