“always a good time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2014

My family has enjoyed this park for many years, from dates in high school to now taking our own kids. Crowds are always bigger on the weekends, so try to find an overcast weekday to go. We find good value in the season pass now that our kids are big enough to go on the large coasters and we take advantage of both bring-a-friend days. We did not take them until they could go on most of the rides - I could not justify the cost for myself to watch little kids on just a few carnival-like rides. Go early and stay late - get your value out of the day. The food is pricey and not usually very good, so we tend to eat on the way, have a snack at the park, and eat on the way home. This park has been a staple of our summers for years and we look forward to many more trips.

“lucky to live so close”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2014

Six Flags Great America is a great park. There are a lot of rides for any age group. There is a specific 2 areas for little tykes with enough to keep them busy all day. The roller coasters are all top notch. Food prices are a little steep but you can keep a cooler in your car for lunch if you want. They also let you bring coolers inside the park for lunch. We have had passes for the past few summers and it's totally worth it. You can get a great deal at the end of the season that includes parking.

The shows are absolutely the best, you wonder how so many can be so talented. Of course kids of all ages love the rides, our favorites are the water rides.

Great park! Rides are a lot of fun if you like roller coasters. Great area for people with small kids also! Very clean and staff are really helpful. Going again this year.

“A day of fun & sun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2013

Went with my best friend & her family for 4th of July weekend. The roller coasters were my favorite even though I haven't been to an amusement park in ages. It was a nice clean park with tons of things to do for all ages. It was expensive but worth it if you go on a nice day.
