We recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Glenview and i can honestly say this hotel was very nice. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt safe becasue the hotel is in a great location. The room was clean and smoke free. The bathroom was a decent size. There were staff readily available. There were also a few nice restaurants nearby. I will be stayiny there again and would recommend this hotel to my family and friends. Thanks,,,signed a pleased guest!!!!!

We stayed one night for a local wedding. The Courtyard staff were overall professional and courteous. The rooms had been updated fairly recently it seemed - they were clean & efficient for the amount of time we were there. The bed was comfortable, which is always a plus! Our breakfast was included in the group rate; it was perfect & they allowed us to use it for two mornings since we checked-in six hours before normal check-in time. They also had a room ready for us at 9 AM, close by to everyone else! If we needed to be in that area again, we would easily choose the Courtyard.

We stayed one night on September 27, which we had booked a month in advance. When we were finally able to find the hotel and enter across traffic, which is extremely confusing, we were politely greeted and given our room number and directions to the room. When we entered into the hallway, we were greeted by an overwhelming smell of mildew. The wallpaper throughout the entire wing was peeled and curled up about 2 feet from the bottom. The smell permeated the room even with the door closed. No one else appeared to be staying in this wing. Adjoining doors were ajar and I looked in to find completely stripped rooms with large water drying fans running and construction equipment about. We returned to the front desk and described the situation and requested a room elsewhere, which we were given. The desk clerk said that wing was being "remodeled". In fact, as you can read in another review here, there was a fire and the entire wing encountered devastating water damage. We were amazed we were placed in such a hazardous, toxic, environment. This should be a warning about this hotel and, perhaps, other Mariott properties.

We recently stayed at the Marriott Courtyard Hotel in Glenview, Illinois. We stay here whenever we are in town because we like the hotel staff and the rooms and lobby are very welcoming. We especially like the breakfast buffet that is served in the lobby. The lady who runs the buffet has always treated us with courtesy and her positive attitude is contagious. We ask for 'Tina' every time we stay because we love the way that she treats her customers and services their needs. This is a nice place to stay and the rates are good for what you get. It is also located close to major highways and shopping.
