“Pleasant Neighborhood Diner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2012

I was visiting family who live nearby, and wanted to have breakfast with an old friend. We drove around until we found this place, that had the "right" look. We made a good choice. Lots of things on the broad breakfast menu looked interesting, and we chose two. We were both pleased with our choices. Service was pleasant. Coffee is restaurant supplier standard -- nondescript, no obvious flavor, but fresh and plentiful. There's a Starbucks a few blocks away if you want the real thing.

This rating is for a single visit, for breakfast. We didn't bother to study the lunch menu, but my guess is that it's decent diner food. The restaurant was full of .locals who looked like regulars.

“Little hidden gem in Geneva.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2011

My family went here for a late breakfast one Sunday. There is no one to seat you, so you get to sit where you want, which might be at a 6 top for 3 people, or at the counter. The menu is standard...lets call it Greek/American. Lots of hearty breakfast/lunch dishes, but not as large as most Greek/American joints, so Diner food. Nothing wrong with it at all. I had an a feta and gyro meat omelet which was done right, with home made toast. I think we were in and out in less than 45 min, which is not too bad for the Sunday church rush. I would certainly go back again! Per person, I think it was about $8-$12 with drinks.

“A Taste of Americana - Stepping Back in Time”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2010

This is an old time diner that takes you back in time. A time when there weren't many restaurants in America, but there were lots of diners. The food is good, the atmosphere is good, the place is very small and crowded, but it's a neat local place to go for breakfast or lunch. A large variety of breakfast items, sandwiches, soups, etc. The prices are very, very reasonable.

“Great neighborhood diner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2009

Highly recommend the country skillet. Pancakes are some of the best around. Everything we've had there has been great. It's your typical traditional diner. The only thing I would change is if their menu had a bit more options. Not a lot of seating, but we've never had to wait.
