Geneva is such a bustling place, with so many atttractions, it is easy to miss Chianti's. The place is a gem. The service is friendly, which is not that unusual really - but you don't always find people who have been waiting at the same restaurant for more than two decades!
The best part is the glass lined west wall. You can sit at a table there, and watch the people come and go down 3rd Street, like in the olden days, while you sip your wine or, better yet, the imported toast baguettes served with some out-of-this-world garlic sauce.
The place is relaxing and unpretentious, with a quaint old railroad toy running aimlessly up along the walls, close to the ceiling.
If you happen across a sunny afternoon, warming by the window, be careful, or you will catch yourself meowing...
