If you want to connect with nature, and just relax, this is the place! We came with our two dogs and we were well taken care of. The host is a bit eccentric and he made us feel at home as soon as we pulled up in our car. The place is a bit off the beaten path, but just a short drive from town. It really is pleasant to sit next to a roaring bonfire, drink some wine and have the dogs running about. Breakfasts were yummy. The dogs ate so well that we had a hard time getting them back on dog food when we returned! We are definitely going back.

Me (and my dog) thoroughly enjoyed Tierra Linda and all it's natural beauty. Armando, and his puppies, are very welcoming and friendly. I felt more as if I were visiting family or a friend rather than simply being a guest at a B&B. A very unique experience among the many places I have visited. I recommend highly. A final word: If you visit Tierra Linda and somehow are disappointed, please leave and make availabilty for someone else as you do not deserve to be there in the first place.

TierraLinda was an excellent B&B for both humans and dogs alike. While we humans had a wonderful time walking through the trails, fishing in the pond, sitting on the dock playing games, sitting by the (endless) campfires, I'm sure that our dog had the most fun of all. From the moment we arrived, he was happy as ever running through the yard, playing with the other dogs, snacking on treats, snacking on more treats...I think he's still worn out from his adventures and we've been home for two days now.
We humans ate very well with exceptional breakfasts by day and peanuts by the fire by night. Our dog was spoiled the most, though, when he had bbq steak and chicken stew for his dinner!
Armando was an exceptional host providing us with good advice on sites to see, preparing tasty meals, and providing great company and conversation.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back soon.

My husband, myself and our puppy just returned from a glorious weekend at Tierra Linda. We have stayed at B&Bs all over the world and have never experienced one as hospitable and relaxing as Tierra Linda. We will no doubt return again and again.
Armando was the consumate host, with fantastic suggestions, directions, company and wonderful food. We felt like we were at a friend's house for our whole stay, especially while chatting at the bonfire at night. The Tierra Linda propertyis gorgeous and we had trouble tearing ourselves away from the tranquil surroundings to actually venture out into the Galena Territory.
And while we had a beautifully relaxing weekend, it was the dog who had the best of times. He was pampered to the hilt by the puppy-loving Armando and fed so much food! Homemade chicken soup, fish and ribs! He ate better than we did! In fact he enjoyed his weekend so much he did not want to come home and when we tried to leave he ran back to the house. He literally had to be dragged away.
Tierra Linda is a little piece of heaven on earth and perfect for regeneration of mind, body and soul. (both human and canine).
