Such a welcome atmosphere and wonderful host and yummy cook! Delightful, convenient and incredible gourmet breakfasts with unbelievalbe Saturday high tea.

This was our second stay in the last couple of years and I'm so glad we decided to stay at Felt Manor again. We will definately make this an annual trip. Laura and her assistant Sandy are like family to us. The breakfasts are incredible and one hardly needs to think about lunch once you have had the best food Galena has to offer right in your lodgings. The afternoon tea is of superior quality and on the weekends and certain days of the week there always seem to be a dozen or so delicious temptations from crab stuffed mushroom caps to garlic shrimp with cocktail sauce. At the very last minute family came into town to visit us and they were invited to stay at the manor and were treated like honored family guests. The grounds and building itself are stunning representations of a world gone by and are constantly being upgraded by Laura and her staff. The rooms are magnificently appointed and the service is five star and beyond. If you are looking for a place to stay where accomodations, service, attention to detail and a customized experience are your requirements then Felt Manor is for you.

Laura made her home very accommodating to all guest. With Sandy, her assistant, they made all guest feel right at home and very welcome. Their pleasant personalities just added to the atmosphere and enjoyment of the visit.

Breakfasts were very delicious and beyond any expectations. Equal to any served in a 5-star hotel/restaurant. Afternoon tea hit the spot at that time of the day.

Rooms very well kept and comfortable. Spectacular view from our front window of Galena and the country side beyond.

Would go back there again.
