The Hampton Inn in Fairview Heights was fairly nice. The breakfast buffet was more than enough for us heading out on a busy day. It's also not far to drive to a Metrolink train station to take the train to St. Louis. Given the traffic and current construction, definitely consider the train. Rooms were above average and the bathrooms were more spacious than most hotels at this level. I didn't use the pool but it seemed to be quite popular with the families and looked nice. No problems with noise from other rooms and very little from the interstate although that was right next door. Staff was very friendly and helpful - would definitely stay there again.
