Uncomfortable bed with polyester sheets badly pilling and one of those awful plastic velux blankets. Windows do not open and noisy in-room air conditioner/heater did a poor job of keeping temperature below 75 degrees. Every glass provided in the room had been used even though they had little "clean" caps on them. Room was not made up following the first night and maid woke me pounding on the door the second morning despite a do-not-disturb sign. Free in-room high-speed internet and good-sized desk for business travelers are about the only bright spots.

3. New/Up to Date rooms with no overdone design
4. Free water bottle in room (on Starwood floor at least)
5. Very close to Hwy 159 and 64 for easy access to Belleville or St. Louis and near a convention center
6. Plenty of parking
7. Not too busy for a late checkout request

Only stayed here one night while visiting some friends in Belleville and my old home town of St. Louis. But after searching my options of hotels in the 10 mile vicinity, I was a bit concerned.

Found this Four Points by Sheraton (had never stayed at a Four Points, but am a Starwood Member) and was actually quite impressed at the quality. While it is a Category 1 hotel according to Starwood, it is strictly the location that makes it so (midwest, outside of St. Louis). Used 2,000 starwood points for a night here - great deal. King Bed was really comfy with the quality of a Westin bed. Granite appointments and Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries are offered. Clean comforters and carpet (things I tend to notice). Would definitely stay here and at another Four Points again given my experience here.

For the price this hotel is as good as it gets!!! It has a terrific location! I will probably never stay in downtown St. Louis again with this wondeful property being only ten minutes from downtown and having every restaraunt and shopping venue you could possibly desire. Everything here was top notch. From the cookies at the front desk to the spacious room! The swimming pool, hot tub, and exercise facility were more than adequate and very well taken care of! If you are travelling for business or pleasure, I can highly suggest this property as an alternative to anything that downtown has to offer!

Overall a great hotel with a great location at a great price!!!

I booked a King, jucuzzi suite and got 2 breakfast buffet thrown in for $140, their free movie didn't work so they credited back $12. I thought it was a pretty decent deal, being so close to St. Louis. It was a huge suite, very nicely decorated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. A huge corner jucuzzi, frig and microwave. The breakfast the next morning was also very good.
