went with a freind for a week august .on arrival the room albeit clean and refurbished wasnt what was expected from our booking on line.Much smaller than we had been led to beleive and not suitable we were there for a week and dissapointed !.But the team at Corton soon got their heads together to offer alternative accomadation...which was super .The general manger Danny was extremely helpful ,professional.and concerned that we were satisfied .The entertainments manager Mike was great ! couldnt have done anymore to help re accomadate us .. his team were the best weve seen in caberet ..(been to several warners).overall we had a fab time ,food was plentiful,,,good choice and hot !This spanned the entire week ...lots of fun.nothing was to much trouble for anyone at all ...WELL DONE CORTON !! See you at Easter Denise

Room Tip: have a room with a patio .ground level.flowers and gardens are lovely

have just come back from cortons on monday 27th august it was a kylie and madonna tribute weekend which was good the food was excellent as always so i dont know why so many people complain. the rooms were nice and clean we were in boardwalk. i would like to thank dave the bar manager for sorting out the bottled beer for me that was great. the only slight problem there is they badly need a entertainment manager even though everyone trys hard they do need some one to do the quizzes during the day emily is great but didn't no a lot of the answers. but cant complain about anything that happened this weekend had a right laugh it's what you make of it so stop being so negative all the time and enjoy

Room Tip: any all good

Had a great 3 night break with friends at this warners village,we have been before but this time most of the complex had been refurbished,,the accomadation was clean and well maintained, only problem the bed was very hard, The food was very good, everything you could possibly want at breakfast,Dinner was also very good, spoilt for choice,After dinner there was a cabaret show which was good and the resident band also good.
All the staff were very helpful especially the bar manager, the only thing we found was the cost of the wine was very expensive £18 a bottle but all in all a great time had by us all.

Room Tip: we had single rooms, only 2 minute walk to main building

The room we were given had been refurbished to a good standard but was one of the furthest away from the dining room. This did not help as there was continula rain and we had to negotiate large puddles on the walkways.
The food was even worse than on our last visit. They seem to be trying to be so different that it was served on bits of slate or wood where it would finish up on the floor. Cold most of the time.
The entertainment was exactly the same as the last time we were here but a lot of the cast were missing so the end result was terrible.

We arrived at Corton on a two night break on 15th August. Dinner, bed and breakfast as well as evening entertainment were included in the price. Our accommodation was cosy, clean and comfortable. Breakfast and evening meal were of good quality and our waiter was attentive and efficient.

The bar service was of equally good quality. There was minimal queuing and at certain times waiter service was available. Prices were reasonable.

The evening entertainment was excellent. The band could play and the singers could sing! The girls were sexy and gorgeous and the boys (according to my wife) were, well, sexy and gorgeous!

For those that wanted it, there were many activities laid on during the day. We didn't take part, but those that did seemed to be enjoying themselves.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. We left a tee-shirt behind when we departed and phoned to report this. It was posted to us and we received it within four days. - excellent service.

I would heartily recommended Warners Corton..

Firstly the credentials, I am a regular with Warners having stayed at Littlecote, Sinah Warren, Gunton Hall, Bembridge and Norton Grange so know what to expect.

The good bits:
We had a Premier Suite, which is excellent...comfortable bed, superb sea view, balcony and separate lounge area.

The bad bits:
Unlike all other Warners Corton has what they describe as a cabaret diner...in other words there is no separate restaurant. On the face of it you would think this wouldn't be a problem but in reality it means that service is rushed as you need to have finished eating so they can start the dancing and bingo.

It also means that you are stuck at whichever cramped table you are allocated to watch the entertainment so it's pot luck as to whether you get a good seat or not. On the subject of seats dining chairs are not the most comfortable to sit on for best part of 2 to 3 hours of entertainment.

Cleanliness is also an issue ... while we were there they had an outbreak of sickness and diarrhoea which was quite disturbing. Whilst the hand gel "police" we're out in force they didn't address the real issues of cleanliness for example the brass handrails were covered in dirty finger marks and the air conditioning unit above our dining table was filthy. Don't get me started on the state of the pool changing rooms / toilets!

All in all I suppose there is a reason why Corton is the cheapest of the Warners stable...it needs serious investment in terms of the main amenities...tarting up the main entrance really is like sticking a band aid on a broken leg.

So come on Warners invest seriously and you could transform Corton from the worst to the best...it's spectacular cliff top location deserves it!
