We have made it a tradition to go to Dixie Kitchen every Mardi Gras - the food is excellent - great Johhny cakes, the blackened catfish was fantastic and the gumbo was perfect - not to spicy, full flavors, just right. The atmosphere is fun and they have Abita beer to complete the New Orleans vibe. The only issue is the wait - no-one's fault and completely to be expected but the wait for a table and then food on Fat Tuesday can be long. Still, we keep coming back every year for more! Laissez les bons temps rouler!
