By the looks of the parking lot, this must be the place for dinner. On this cold day finding parking was difficult but everyone wanted to be close to the door because of the weather. Upon entering the restaurant, there are a full cases with homemade pies, they all looked pretty good, not mass produced in a assembly line somewhere. The restaurant has multiple dining areas with the same menus plus there is a bar area that is named Brass Rail. The restaurant was full with customers, you pick the dinning section that you would like a table and the hostess will seat your party. This evening we had four in our group, the waitress came for our drink orders upon our seating, they have a full bar service, also she placed a loaf of fresh baked bread at our table with butter but no bread plates. The bread was probably baked earlier in the day and it was not warm. We placed our drink orders and they where delivered promptly. The waitress was ready for our order but we where not, we asked for additional time, then we have not seen our waitress for 20 minutes, when she decided to visit us again, we re-ordered the drinks again and placed our meal orders.
Our meals arrived promptly, my New York Strip was cooked ok, just plain tasting, my wife had the filet and she liked her meal, all items on the menu where just average restaurant menu, with salads, chicken, meat etc. nothing really stood out. Our meals came with salad bar but none of us wanted to take a trip. I guess the item that stood out the most for this place was the homemade pies, otherwise just plain atmosphere and slow service.
