I stayed in room 117 for one night. I pulled in at 5 PM with no reservation. I don't normally care for Super 8's, but that was about the only game in town so I thought I would at least check it out since I was tired. The Manager was very nice and when I asked to see the room first, there was no problem and it appeared clean and well kept. I had no issues with cigarette smell and the furnishings all appeared in good condition. And....yes...there is a Sonic Next door, but it was quiet (might be the time of year I visited) - the worst thing about having the Sonic there is that it was too convenient for me to wander over and grab a shake! The breakfast was very adequate and everything was clean and neat in the Lobby. All in all, I have to say that I would stay there again and I have no complaints about this motel or the staff. My visit here will cause me to check out more Super 8 motels in the future. I am very glad I stayed here.

Holy COW!!!!!!

This was an exercise in endurance and strength...
When you get a room...DONT do the odd numbers, 111, 113, 211, 215, etc.. etc. you will be facing a SONIC (for those of you wont have never been to America, its a Drive in restaurant with car side service.. you pull in, and park with your radio on really loud, shout the order to the office on a speaker and some unfortunate high school kid brings it out and sets it up on your car window to eat... Classic american drive in..) with about 150 running yards of continually-on red and yellow Neon lighting outlining the car port roofs.

The glare is impossible to avoid or sleep with, since there are no glass curtains, so its either dark or you are being stared at by strangers eating Frito Chili Pies in this wierd orange neon glow. Its kind of cool and post-apocalyptic if you can manage to be philosophical while you arent sleeping in the glow...you will habe time to GET philosophical if your arent... but mostly, its annoying and exhausting.

The WORST pillows I've ever had in any hotel or motel anywhere on this planet. Lumpy hard foam rubber shards PACKED in a tight pillow case and then zippered shut by really strong people... when you put your head into it.. the pillow does NOT give... your head doesnt sink, your neck just bends, so you will soon take the dirty comforter and roll IT into a pillow...

I could go on and ON!... but maybe the worst thing is the NON-smoking rooms are on the floor above the Smoking rooms, so when you turn on the bathroom light, the exhaust fan, which is tied the same switch, sucks cigarette smoke right into the bathroom, which is really great when you are already hyper and giddy from lack of sleep...

Be sure you pull down the faucet nozzle washer thingee for a shower, or else you will be sponge bathing... took me two nights to figure it out and the check-out person had to show me this little mimeographed drawing which WASNT in the room, but i guess you have to ask for it, after your body odor forces you to beg for help.... PLEASE MISS or SIR>>>HOW DO I TAKE A SHOWER...

Location is GREAT if you like shopping malls, and MacDonalds...and of course, Sonics

Want more..? FYI, it isnt any better at the Fairgrounds Hotel about a mile away... the pool is empty and the whole place smells like sewage.

Room Tip: Dont do the odd numbers, you will be facing a SONIC with about 150 running yards of continually-on r...

There is really good staff here. They go their extra mile frequently. Breakfast is very adequate.

BUT, some rooms have that musty over lysol smell. Toilets do not flush adequately. Your toilet may not actually be securely bolted to the floor. The beds are a little hard and the pillows a little thin. There is a mall across the road with a grocery store, a couple of restaurants, and a Walmart. So if you have to be in the immediate area this will do in a pinch. But the management would do well to put some money back into the place, even it is means raising prices a little.

Rooms were clean. Breakfast was fine. Staff was hit and miss... Some friendly, others not. Our toilet stopped up twice and the second time, we were given the plunger and told "give this a try". They ended up changing our room which solved the problem, but was very inconvenient. Positive is that I think they got new carpet. I guess you get what you pay for.

For a budget hotel, this is not too bad. It has recently been repainted with new carpets and is very clean and has new furniture. I have stayed here before and found it so-so. This time it was quite good and the people very friendly. As I come to this area once a year, I will probably stay here again.

Good location. My family had 4 rooms On the second floor. Hallway smelled of smoke although there was a non smoking sign posted on the front door. Air conditioning units in room 216/220 made a loud sounds through out the night. Next morning I had asked the front desk to repair them, however the unit in 220 continued to make the noise. Upon checking out, we noticed the box springs had blood stains on the side. Futher investigation revealed all the box springs had stains. We would have checked out if we would have noticed that upon arrival. It is a 2 star property, however I've stayed in cleaner 2 star motels.
