The front desk staff was great in accomodating our request for a king bed and a room on the ground floor. The room was nicely decorated, and had a sofa sleeper and recliner. Wireless internet was an add'l $5 for the entire stay. The kitchen area was nicely appointed with a toaster, microwave, apt size oven/stove, and a full size fridge. Dish soap was availalable on request at the front desk. Continental breakfast was offered on weekdays, and had hot cereals, pastries, breads and juice. The toaster didn't work right, burning everything if you forget to check it, however we solved this problem by taking our breakfast back to our room and using our toaster there. The lack of daily room service (as is typical of any extended-stay typer of hotel) was not a problem for us. We were able to park our vehicle right in front of our window. This is considered an "airport" hotel, however we did not hear any air traffic in our room.
We stayed here to escape the high cost of staying in the city. The room was half the price as downtown hotels, and parking was free. We were in close proximity of the Rosemont train station, which had a park and ride for $3 a day. It was about a 45 minute commute by train to downtown, and public transportation was fairly user friendly.
