I stayed here the night before a flight from O'Hare. I parked my car right out front near reception overnight which was very nice. The next morning, I took my car to the remote lot to park it while I was away. Convenient. I asked for a room away from the elevator and was given a king bed room on the second floor. The room was nicely furnished and it looked like it had been newly renovated. The bathroom was nice too. I really enjoyed the Sleep Number Bed since I had never tried one.

I didn't hear the plane traffic at all and although I heard the neighbors a bit....not terrible. The air conditioning was in good working order and the staff was pleasant. If I can get a good rate again, I would stay here before a flight.

After searching for the best price for a room I found this place. I knew it was about a 40 minute cta train ride into downtown but was willing to work with that. The area is ok, nothing special but not the getto either. They have select comfort beds that are nice. The room was clean. They do need to do some updating and upkeep on the place but it was still ok.

My husband and I stayed here for one night before our early morning flight . We booked on parksleepfly and I was happy with the sale price we got a couple months out. The parking was a little confusing as part of the parking lot is torn up for construction of a new steak house adjoining the hotel and something else going up next to that. I had requested a smoking room, but we got a non-smoking. We called the front desk and within five minutes someone met us at a new room with a new key- no biggie.

The room was nice and very clean. I especially liked the convenience of having a Target within walking distance. I always forget something. This time it was batteries for my camera. We went to Target, ate dinner at a nearby chain restaurant and walked back to the hotel. You can hear the planes, this is the busiest airport in the world and this is an airport hotel. It certainly didn't prevent us from getting a good night's sleep.

The airport shuttles are every half hour, so we got downstairs at 4:20 to take the 4:30 shuttle. he pulled up at 4:25 and at 4:31 we were on our way. I was impressed because our last experience at another hotel wasn't nearly that efficient. They didn't make our wake-up call and the shuttle was 20 minutes late.

The biggest problem we encountered was with our return. After a very long day of travelling home, I called the hotel at 4:05pm and said we were at the International terminal and needed a shuttle back to the hotel. The woman on the phone told me she would send someone right over and told me which door to wait by. I should have asked exacly what time, but I was tired and just assumed within minutes. An hour went by and still no shuttle. I did not have my cell phone, so I made the long walk back to the pay phones from where we were waiting. When I asked what happened she said she was very sorry, she forgot to tell the driver on his last trip. The next one would be there at 5:20.At 5:25, he finally pulled up.

With all the hassles involved with travelling today, I suppose it's not a big deal, but it was a lousy way to end our trip.We were tired and frozen from standing outside so long. I think airport hotels can skip the fancy beds, nice restaurants and all the other amenities they use to entice customers. That shuttle and it's timeliness should be the #1 priority and all staff should understand that.Tell me which hotel does and I'll be a customer for life.

“The Hotel Itself was O.K. But THE MOST HORRIBLE SERVICE EVER!!!”

Radisson Hotel Chicago O'Hare

The hotel was o.k.. Nice and clean. But had things broken in my room. I called the front desk three times within 1 1/2 hour because I was promised someone would at my room within 10 minutes to fix the problems. I was exhausted and wanted to get to bed after a long day of travel. I did not want to wait forever to get some service. I was told two of the three times the maintenance person was on a short break. Well. the break must have lasted all night because no one ever showed up to fix the problems. So after 2 hours and three calls to the front desk, I gave up and went to bed. The front desk people were very young (seemed like high school or college age) and conveyed to me they really didn't care if I had a need or not. I was never asked upon checking out if everything was o.k. If I had been asked I would have submitted my complaint then. No customer cards available express my complaint.
