This is a very average hotel, located about 10 mins drive from O'Hare airport. There is a free shuttle bus to and from the airport but it runs only every half an hour. On arrival, we were pleased to be able to check in early - thank goodness for that as we were so tired from our 8 hour flight. Unfortunately, there is no safe in the room, so we had to lock any valuables in our suitcase. The beds were comfortable and the internet access generally reliable. The restaurant had nice sandwiches although its soda machine produced a very flat pepsi.

There is a Target across the road from the hotel but no supermarket. Also, there is Steak and Shake, Panda Express, Chilis, and Krispy Kreme donuts across the road.

The hotel is quite cheap in comparison to other hotels in the area but if I had my choice again, I will definitely pay more to stay near downtown. The reason is that despite the free hotel shuttle to the airport, catching the EL from the airport to downtown took almost an hour, making the total trip anywhere from 1hr 15mins to sometimes 2 hours. On one of the trips, the hotel shuttle was full at the airport so we had to wait another half an hour for the next shuttle to arrive. I can imagine this is a frequent occurence as airline crews appear to use the hotel.

Our flight was planned for departure from O'Hare at night so we stored our luggage in the Radisson luggage room after checking out in the morning. I was really surprised that on requesting our luggage, the staff did not even check my ticket stubs and just opened the luggage room door and basically allowed me to "help myself". I could have helped myself to other people's luggage! I did not receive any assistance in getting my 6 pieces of luggage out and had to move other people's bags out of the way to attend to my own. I can;t recommend this hotel as I think service would be better at other hotels.

I needed an affordable place to stay by the airport and the Radisson fit the bill! I got a good deal on Hotwire and the room was really nice and clean. It is also very convenient to a Chili's, IHOP and mall with a Target within walking distance.

I have mixed reviews for shuttle service. Pick-up took a really long time from the aiport but the driver was very apologetic. Shuttle back to the airport was much better and driver was very courteous and helpful.

We went to Cozumel on February 18th. We had a 5:00 am flight so we decided to drive in on Saturday, have some dinner then get a few hours of sleep. We booked a park, sleep, fly with the Radisson. Reasonable rate and good location. Also easy to get to. Wake up call was on time. Sleep Number beds so my wife and I selected our own numbers and both of us were very comfortable. Had a great shuttle driver at 3:00 am. Very funny guy. Pick up at the airport upon our return was very prompt. And best of all the car was where we left it and in one piece.

We loved the bed! The hotel was clean and the shuttle service is commendable, with exception to the disgruntled shuttle drive on our late night trip to the airport. This particular gentleman was extremely rude and it's a shame that this actually made it into this review because the rest of the stay at the Radisson was great. Every other experience we had on the shuttle was positive, just goes to show how one bad experience can hurt business. We loved the pricing and location. We would recommend this for a short term stay. We will stay there again.
