This is a 3 1/2 star review. I've been here twice and both times had the same waitress. She's super friendly, but a little too sarcastic. Nothing I can't get over, though, especially since it's all in good fun. While she's really friendly, I think she was overwhelmed a bit because it was hard to track her down sometimes. I think it was due to an unexpectedly busy Christmas Eve rush.
The appetizers :
- Grilled CalamarI: Good, but not great. Other places have better, but this dish wasn't bad.
- Caprese: Fresh and delicious!
Entrees: The linguini with broccoli was cooked well but was WAY too garlicky. My husband couldn't finish it because he was overwhelmed by garlic.
I had the lasagna. It was a little too al dente for more and lacked sauce, but the flavor was good. With slightly softer noodles and a bit more sauce, it would be great.
Veal parmesan had the same issue as the lasagna - not enough sauce but good flavor.
Overall, a good place to go for Italian in the burbs, but head downtown for something better.
