I stayed at the Hilton Suits MM with my wife and teenage daughter for three nights in mid April. The property was a good choice for the trip which combined business in the loop area with a quick family getaway. The suite consisted of three rooms: a living room with a sleeper sofa, a bed room with a king size bed and a bath with separate entrances to each room. There is nothing fancy about this hotel. The rooms were clean and functional, the bed was reasonably comfortable, the sleeper sofa was uncomfortable as expected, and the lobby is relatively small and not a place to linger.
That said, the hotel has several virtues that recommend it. The first is the price, which pre-paid was considerably less than other hotels in the area. Second, the two rooms with sleeper sofa gave our daughter needed privacy. Third, the location is very good if one is shopping in the NMA area. (I mentioned I traveled with my wife and teenage daughter?) Fourth, and most important, the staff were top-notch. The front desk staff quickly and pleasantly handed a problem with the sleeper sofa. A hotel doorman literally ran a full city block to hail a cab for us when none appeared within a minute or two of our requesting one. The housekeeping staff greeted us every day with a pleasant "good morning/afternoon" and smiles. The only questionable call by staff was the by the concierge who, when I solicited a restaurant recommendation, suggested the Cheesecake Factory. But, when she saw the look on my face, quickly came up with a local, more original, suggestion. Nonetheless, I've stayed at several top-flight hotels in Chicago, and the Hilton Suites staff collectively were the equal or better than their colleagues at several premier properties.
Don't expect luxury here, but if you are looking for a value, especially for family travel, the Hilton Suits may be a good choice.
Do not pay extra for a upper floor or view room. The Hotel is largely surrounded by taller buildings...

Thank you very much for staying with us and for taking the time to tell us and other travelers about your experience. I am glad that you and your family were able to experience the value that our hotel offers with suites that are a great value. Of course, our location makes it even more of a treat as there is so much to do so close to the hotel. I apologize for our concierge limiting her recommendation a little too much at first but I am glad she was able to give you the Chicago experience.
We look forward to your next visit. Thank you
