It was a while back that I stayed here (June 2011.There was no option in the drop down going that far back, so I picked June 2012). I went to Chicago on a business trip and this boutique hotel with its unique and quirky interior design largely contributed to me feeling very happy on this trip. The room was huge, almost like a little apartment, with plenty of space. The bed was so comfortable and the rooms were really clean. I enjoyed the modern breakfast area with a coffee shop-like atmosphere. Starbucks coffee was available, too. Staff was really friendly.
Location-wise it was just brilliant. So close to the beach and Lake Michigan, and within minutes of nice bars and restaurants and the historic part of the Gold Coast. Plenty of shops like Walmart around you to buy water, sweets, etc. I can really recommend this hotel!

I spent one night in Chicago on a business trip and spent the night at Hotel Indigo. I must say at the outset that the staff, particularly Anna, the Exec. Housekeeper and the manager on duty at the time of my arrival, was exceptionally accommodating. My reservation was made for the night after my arrival and even though it was non-cancelable, she managed to apply the payment to the night I actually slept in the hotel.

My corner room, ending in 13, was small, but adequate. The color scheme was blues and lime green, with whitewashed furniture, something I would expect at a beach property. The painted furniture was worn on the edges. The lampshade had small holes in it. The TV was a CRT, not flat screen. The wallpaper had small tears...nothing terrible but certainly not first class. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower stall was large and clean.

The tenth floor was high up enough so that I could only marginally hear the sounds of the city below.

The hotel was so cute - just like something on the beaches of South Carolina. Staff was very helpful and courteous and the room was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for Division Street fun. Just one block from Original Mothers, Hang Ups, TJ McCartys, The Leg Room, etc....

The hotel Indigo Gold Coast Hotel and location are second to none. I continue to stay at this hotel again and again.
Hotel Indigo Gold Coast is close to all fine restaurants and shopping. The rooms are cute and have stunning City
views. But what sets them above is their Personal service. Alma provided us with an upgraded room, due to my
coworker Retiring. In addition, she arranged a beautiful table at the lovely Lobby lounge, and surprised us with
a wonderfy bottle of wine. And the service that Lisa and Veronica provide are second to none. They treat me like
a friend, instead of a business transaction. They are very cheerful and ask me numerous times who my stay at
the hotel was going. These two ladies are the Best! And the gentleman are courteous also, but cant remember
their names. Cant wait to return to Hotel Indigo Chicago.
