I spent one night in Chicago on a business trip and spent the night at Hotel Indigo. I must say at the outset that the staff, particularly Anna, the Exec. Housekeeper and the manager on duty at the time of my arrival, was exceptionally accommodating. My reservation was made for the night after my arrival and even though it was non-cancelable, she managed to apply the payment to the night I actually slept in the hotel.
My corner room, ending in 13, was small, but adequate. The color scheme was blues and lime green, with whitewashed furniture, something I would expect at a beach property. The painted furniture was worn on the edges. The lampshade had small holes in it. The TV was a CRT, not flat screen. The wallpaper had small tears...nothing terrible but certainly not first class. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower stall was large and clean.
The tenth floor was high up enough so that I could only marginally hear the sounds of the city below.
