We just returned from a two night stay with our two small children and were very impressed with the customer service. The valet parking staff was outstanding, and was very helpful as we maneuvered our kids and all their gear in and out of cabs. Overall the hotel is in a great location, the rooms are a nice size, and the free breakfast was nice. My only complaints are that 1. the windows (on the 16th floor) could be opened fairly wide and had no screen or lock. Yikes!! 2. the duvet for the down comforter was very scratchy and uncomfortable. Otherwise we had an excellent time!

This was our second visit in a little over a year, and we were just as pleased this time around with the service, cleanliness, and value this little gem downtown offers. The hotel is located a short block away from Michigan Ave where you'll find all the world-class shopping and restaurants you can handle. Maria checked us into a quiet corner room that was very spacious and clean. The Guest Services Manager Jason was extremely helpful in providing a list of local restaurants to choose from, and personally recommended a Korean restaurant that was exactly what we were looking for. Loved the beds and pillows.

Breakfast was hot and plentiful. The staff was quick to stay on top of the food refills and dirty tables. We had a drink spill, and a staff member suddenly appeared out of nowhere to sop up the mess. The only downside we experienced is that the pool temperature was noticeably cooler the next day, so the kids did not stay in the water as long as they had the previous day. We would definitely stay again.

I don't know what else you can ask for in downtown Chicago do not skip this hotel because it is one of the best I've ever stayed in in the city The suite with kitchenette was great and perfect for two teens and two adults

This hotel is very convenient to a number of things in the downtown area. It is one block away from the Red Line but we chose to walk most places. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed having a separate living space from the bedroom. The bathroom was a bit cramped but functional. The breakfast was all hot foods which was fine since we were on vacation and not in a rush. It would be nice to offer some cold options to go that would cater to business travelers. We took advantage of the evening reception one night and were pleasantly surprised at how good everything tasted. The staff were by far some of the best we have encountered. We were only there a few days but overhead one of the morning staff members ask another guest if she wanted the same as the day before. She clearly remembered the guest and their dietary restrictions which went above what we typically see. Overall two thumbs up for the staff and comfort of the suite.

A number of well known Chicago restaurants and sites are within a 15 minute walk including Gino's, Al's, Lou Malnati, the Magnificent Mile and Navy Pier. We were also able to walk to Millennium and Grant parks with no problems. Certainly a good place to stay for convenience and comfort. They cater to a wide variety of travelers and the amenities and price make it even better.
