“great location, clean & quiet room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Stayed here as a couple with a toddler for a weekend visit to Chicago. Loved that we were centrally located close to stores, museums, restaurants... However in April, there was some construction going on in the lobby.

Would recommend this hotel to friends coming to Chicago. A good place to come with children - quiet, spacious and clean.

We would definitely stay at this hotel again. It is located right next to the Riverwalk, with a restaurant right next door (although we were very disappointed that it was closed for a private event). Our room was a double on the 16th floor, and although our view was primarily of the "corn cob" towers, we could look down on the river and the pretty bridges and buildings. It was wonderful to take a walk on the Riverwalk in the morning, and there was lots of activity on the river with boat rides and kayakers. We were within walking distance of most everything. The employees at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The newly decorated lobby was beautiful and very modern. I actually wished I had time to hang out in the lobby and have a drink at the bar. Our room wasn't large, but was the perfect size and very nicely decorated. The bathroom was quite large, though. The elevators were quick. My only negative comment was that we couldn't find our television remote, and it was over an hour before someone from the the first floor to give us a new one. But, truly, this was one of the most positive experiences we have ever had in a Chicago hotel. Thumbs up!

Room Tip: I have heard not all rooms have a view. I asked at the front desk if they could give us a room wit...

This hotel is in a perfect location to walk to most tourist highlights. The rooms are nice size with a little old classic yet updated feel to it. The staff was friendly & eager to help. We had a partial view of the lake. The room was immaculately clean. The only complaint I had was the noise. Being in the heart of the city means. Lot of city noise- all night long! Along with the normal city noise there was construction from the river walk area. Overall, it was good experience. I would recommend staying in a upper floor. We stayed on the 7th floor. Higher would be better.

Room Tip: Stay in a higher floor

Green Features: I did not notice any recycling options. I am sure if we inquired they would have provided information on recycling

Great location. Everything was clean, prompt and fun. Hotel staff were great and no complaints. Really enjoyed the stay and the only thing was the $70.00 parking a day sucked. They had recently changed the price of this which we had no idea because the site said 40. All good though.

Great staff, Great Staff. The hotel shares a parking lot with house Of Blues, around the corner 2 doors is Harey Careys -Perfect- I was their for business and the hotel and staff were top notch. I had an issue with PPV movie and they let me re-watch it and then took off my bill. The little things... I have to say the room was on the smaller size but the bed and pillows were very comfortable and I slept well. Very quiet. Ill rebook next time Im in Chicago!

Great location on the water, in the middle of downtown, great bars nearby and plenty of cabs right outside when I needed a cab at 4am to get to O'Hare.

Rooms are nice and clean, although the only downside is that they are definitely kinda dark - i.e. not sure who's idea it was to have purple decor with dark grey walls!

We booked this hotel purely on location, and very quickly realized we made the right choice. it is centrally located to everything; several train stops, the river, restaurants, jazz clubs, short walk to the Magnificent Mile, the list goes on.

From check-in to check-out the staff made us feel not only welcome, but on many different occasions gave an extra level of attentiveness that makes a guest feel extra welcome. Ryan and Robert on the front desk where fantastic and helpful with recommendations as well as some passes to evening entertainment. The doorman remembered us and greeted us with a personal greeting each time we came and went, right up until departure day. The bellman was helpful and efficient in looking after our bags. Basically everyone we had contact with left us with a very positive feeling that they cared about their guests.

The hotel itself is set back a bit behind Marina City (the two circular towers on the rivers edge) so few (if any) rooms will have a view that doesn't face directly into a parking garage or building, but that didn't matter. The hotel is nice, lobby is great with a bar/restaurant that always had guests. Elevators are secure and require your room key to operate which is a nice feature.

The rooms were basic but nice, with a fully stocked ($) mini-bar, and good sized bathroom. Everything was clean, cleaning staff did an excellent job each day, and looked after us quite well.
Bed was very comfy, we had 3 very busy and active days and got 3 very good quality and restful sleeps.
Complimentary wi-fi is provided in the form of a personal code which I think keeps it secure to just guests, while they are active and staying in the hotel.
Overall we were thrilled with this hotel selection and would certainly both recommend and return. The location is simply amazing, you can't beat it!
Thanks!

Room Tip: Higher floor in the middle of the hallway on the south side, and you MIGHT have a view of the river
