“Great stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2013

It was a great experience staying at this hotel. The rooms were clear and beds are extremely comfortable and made me want to get the same bedding for home.

The proximity of the hotel is also great to most of the things downtown. We barely used a cab as everything was within walkable distance.

We went into the city this past weekend for a House of Blues show and stayed at the Sheraton, downtown Chicago. It is in the perfect spot to stay, it's right on the Riverwalk, near the lake, Navy Pier, and in walking distance to the both Grant Park and Millenium Park.. The staff there did a great job of making us feel at home, and our room and view was amazing. This was our first stay at this hotel, but we will be back!!

I stayed there for a conference. I was fortunate to have a room overlooking the river. The view was very nice. I found the room to be very comfortable and the staff to be very pleasant, helpful, and professional. The Concierge Desk was excellent as far as recommending dining options and offering advice as far as directions and ease of travel. The location of the hotel was great! Whether it was watching the boats on the river, a short walk to Navy Pier, or walking to one of the many near-by restaurants or shopping areas, everything you needed was close. I would definitely recommend it and will certainly stay there again if I get back to Chicago.

Room Tip: The view overlooking the river is neat.

We love the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers and stay there every time we are visiting Chicago. It is close to everything so you can get to all the major attractions by walking. The rooms are spacious and clean, and all are recently renovated – the pool is really nice with access to a great outdoor lounging deck that also has exercise bikes which is nice because you can enjoy the outdoors while getting exercise. The staff is really friendly and is always willing to help. Shula's steak is succulent, and the Chicago Burger Company’s burgers are the juiciest and great value for the money. LB Bistro & Patisserie has the best breakfast buffet. The chef will make you any kind of egg concoction you can dream up and it’s always delicious with plenty of choices. I love the neighborhood and being next to the river it is a great people/boat watching excursion. If you stay here you will be very happy!

Room Tip: I suggest the river view rooms.

The Sheraton never ceases to impress. We had a wonderful stay. Our room rates were excellent. We were provided first class services, an upgrade to a suite and many other extras. The Sheraton on the river is a perfect location downtown and within walking distance to most everything.

The staff there is excellent and very helpful, and our room and view was amazing. I've stayed at this hotel before and will make this the hotel we go to every time we go back to Chicago, it was wonderful!

Room Tip: The suites are awesome, the views spectacular!

We booked the Sheraton as the location allowed walking to the attractions nearby.
The location in the city is good within walking distance of most of the attractions and boat tours and navy pier
The room we had 2412 was impeccably clean with proper high quality linens and duvets (it really is tacky to reuse bed coverings and a must in my mind.
We felt the price was high for we had stayed in other properties for much lower but we happened upon a busy weekend with the Chicago half marathon and many weddings
The bathrooms also very clean with adequate towels
I despise the minibar concept that you are billed if you touch something- I prefer it to be locked away from children
The room was quiet even though the hotel was full
We booked the self park package which w well worth it as the hotel charges 48 dollars for self park and more for valet!
We did not use any of the food choices so cannot comment
The gym was busy but in excellent shape
All in all I was very pleasantly surprised enough so that rather than splurge on the five star for the quality of sleep and the location I might just stay there again upon a return to the windy city
