Maybe years ago this was an interesting and inviting place to stay, but now it certainly is not. Because of the wonderful weather and events we experienced while in Chicago, it made up for this lousy Bed & Breakfast. The only time we saw our hostess was at check-in time, and that was just long enough to run our credit card. For breakfast, don't expect more than cold muffins set out on the counter, and you only have an hour and a half in the morning that it is "put out." We couldn't even find anyone to give the keys to when we left. The building itself was also a big problem. A dangerous back stairway, a door that doesn't open properly (very painful on the knuckles) and then the general disrepair could get depressing if you had to live there. I could go on about "The House of Two Urns" but I'm sure you get the idea. I have to say that I read a bad review of this place before we booked a room but did it anyway. Shame on me for not taking that review to heart!
