We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and it was an excellent experience. They upgraded us to a corner suite upon arrival. They were accommodating in holding the flowers I had delivered to our room while we were out on the town and when we returned they sent the flowers up with a free bottle of wine and a nice note. Great hotel, very affordable. We payed $90/night fri-sun.

The overall value is terrific for a downtown Chicago hotel. The rooms are large and family friendly. The complimentary morning breakfast is much more than we anticipated with homemade waffles, fruit, eggs, breakfast meats, etc., etc. The staff is truly terrific - very welcoming and friendly. The kids enjoyed the pool in the evening and we often hung out in the breakfast area in the evening watching the football games while the kids played on the computers, etc. The location is great - just a few blocks off of Michigan Avenue. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance as well.

Ok this has to be my favorite spot to stay. I snagged a fabulous deal on hotel.com and am happy happy I did. I have stayed at the adjoining Springhill in the same building but there is a difference in the rooms. The room is top notch folks. Fresh, clean, like new. The bed incredibly comfy, pillows as well I wanted to stay in bed and rest more but no time for that. The breakfast served in the lobby area is more like a restaurant you can choose anything from yogurt, fresh oatmeal, waffles, cereal, bagels and I'm sure I've missed mentioning other choices. The food staff greets you like your family and happily steps in to help you carry selections to your table. I've stayed here before and it's like this every time. This hotel is in a central location and is in walking distance to just about everything. This one should absolutely be considered to stay at. Oh did I mention they have a pool and hot tub. Ahhh

We stayed in a corner suite , room 2103 . perfect location, close to restaurants, bars. It was very nice. Kitchen, full fridge. stocked cabinets with utensils . Dishwasher. very comfortable queen bed. floor to ceiling views. There was an office building directly south, but views all the way westward.
room was very quiet except any time a siren went by, then it seemed like we were on the first floor.
would recommend. breakfast food was ample( sunday) The lady operating the breakfast was awesome. She literally went out of her way to make sure you ate, and had refills. She was extremely friendly, motherly. We did not use any other features. Front desk staff were nice.
