This was the best customer service I've ever received at a hotel. Hands down. It started when we arrived early and the clerk at the front desk offerered to hold our bags and call us as soon as our room was ready. It continued on the second day when my husband and I were out exploring the town and had left the 'do not disturb' tag in the door only to come back to a plastic bin beside our door containing fresh towels and toiletries. But the grand finale occurred on our last evening there when we returned to our room and found a gift bag filled with two sodas and a hand-written note from the guest services manager noting that our supply was low and she wanted to replenish it for us (we had left two empty bottles in the room and the person cleaning our room must have made a note of it). It was like staying at a Ritz Carlton but with Hampton Inn prices. The hotel is also in a really cool historic building located in the Theatre District and within walking distance of all kinds of Chicago attractions. Bravo Hampton Inn!
