“Add My Voice to the Praise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

The "Woody Allen" arrived on my plate and was about as huge as a Buick. It was simply three pieces of perfect rye bread with a mountain of pastrami on one side and a similar amount of corned beef on the other. A pickle and cole slaw finished the meal. It took a little bit of time to get the table, but I can't complain because it was St. Paddy's Day. The wait was entertaining and attended to well by the staff as they served drinks to the waitees. Ambiance is perfect for a diner..staff was terrific!

Went here for breakfast, food was good, service great. Experience priceless. Bloody Mary is a must have. The price was very reasonable for Chicago.

“AMAZING!!!!”

Seriously, the best place we ate in Chicago. Excellent value and you get a TON of food. They have a pretty much full bar as well. Jewish deli meets classic diner. Very friendly staff.

“Super fun dining find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013

We stumbled upon the Eleven City Diner for a late dinner. It was an excellent experience. Our waitress was super fun and helpful as to what we may like. We aren't Jewish and haven't had a lot of offerings on the menu and she recommended some great things. We are ourselves into oblivion. Soooo good. Great atmosphere. Don't miss this place!!!!
