This show was definitely something different and fascinating.
Our host was a great story teller and was very engaging with the audience.

We just stumbled across "Supernatural Chicago" at the Excalbur, while returning to our Hotel from dinner in the Kerryman Pub. So we made a point to be there for 7.30 Friday. It's a fantastic show made somewhat better with direct audience participation. The show is a mix of: historical fact, some folklore, and a little bit of magic all wrapped up in a sprinkle of humor. Neil Tobin, your guide and ring master on this supernatural journey certainly has the gift-of-the-gab, and makes you feel totally included in the proceedings. This is one of those shows you shouldn't miss, but if you do, well It's your loss.

My mother, neice and I went to the Excalibur Nightclub this weekend (10/17/09) to see the Supernatural Chicago show. It was well worth the money (only $25 per person) and very entertaining. If you are looking for a "Haunted House" type entertainment, this is not it. However, if you like to hear about supernatural history/urban legends (like me) this is the show for you. The show is about an hour and a half long (no breaks).

Unsure what to expect, Neil more than delivered! The finale was the kicker of the show where I happened to be the subject called up to the front of the room. As never having been a believer in ghosts/spirits in the past, I definitely left his show in awe and amazement. Until this day, I am convinced he is one-on-a-kind. You won't be disappointed by the finale!
