We had to check out a jazz club in Chicago so we ended up making dinner reservations at Andy's!
There was a cover charge of $10 per person for the bands playing. The service was pretty prompt (at times it got a bit slow), the atmosphere is somewhat pub like, but darker which I find fits well with the place.
The dinner was relatively good. It was nothing spectacular, but I would say it's like upscale pub food.
We had our appetizers, and a couple of main courses. We ordered the Steak Tips and a soup to start off. The Steak Tips were actually very good.. considering where we're from, we're kind of judgmental when it comes to beef, but Steak Tips were definitely good.
My wife's soup was pretty good as well, although I don't remember what kind of soup she ordered.
We ordered the Sesame Tuna and a Pep and Bacon pizza which were both decent. However I felt the dough on the pizza was a bit dry. Although I enjoyed the portion size of the food served!
However, I felt the price was a bit steep, so the value was not the best when it comes to the food. But the music was top notch, and it definitely made up for it.
The music was great, as we were able to checkout both bands that played. It is definitely worth checking out!
