My daughter and I came here for breakfast and it was delicious. The coffee is only 50 cents! You tell the guy at the grill how you like it (cream, sugar, etc) and that's exactly the way you get it. We ordered eggs and bacon, which come on a roll, sandwich style. Really tasty and only $3.75 each. We weren't hungry again until really late in the afternoon! The cook , an older man, was very nice and such a character. Just a note--there are two small bathrooms which are unisex, no "mens" or "ladies" written on the door, so use either one. There are lots of funny newspaper articles taped to the wall if you want something to read, and the decor has to be seen to be believed. We really like this unique place under Michigan Avenue and it's become part of our Chicago early morning routine when we're visiting.
