We have been going to House of Fortune for years and it is always a great experience!! Great food, low prices and nice people. We have many friends who we have introduced this restaurant to who call it one of their family favorites, now. It is far cheaper than the $30 per person quoted in the summary. Just last night we went there for my husband's birthday and had won ton soup for all 7 of us (all adults), eggrolls, crab rangoon, 2 orders of the best chicken fried rice in my son's universe, Mongolian beef, 2 orders of kung pao chicken, walnut shrimp, steamed vegetables, orange chicken, General Tso's chicken and white rice all for the low price of $130.00. We really over ordered and everyone took home leftovers for 7 more entire meals! If you are looking for a genuine Chinese restaurant, this is it! The one thing it does lack is a flashy decor, but can you eat decor???? The ambiance that this restaurant lacks is more than made up for in a stroll down the streets of Chinatown as you stop in the gift shops and bakeries.
